Using A Us Music Device On European Electricity Net (which Voltage Converter / Power Transformer ?)?

Hi everyone, I just bought a music system from the US, a BOSE WAVE music system. This is a very compact system but with a superior sound quality. I knew on forehand I’d have to use a voltage converter / power transformer to be able to use it, but now I’m looking for one I’m not sure what to choose. The system works on 110V, 50/60Hz and 60W. So I’ll just get a converter that provides more than 60W (like 100W). I just want to make sure if it’s safe to use those compact ‘travel’ converters. I often read they are meant for equipment like hairdryers, or shaving machines - is it recomendable to use it on this rather expensive music device?? I wonder whether there are people who are using compact converters for media devices as well. There are ‘meant to be high quality converters’ on the market, but they are massive, heavy and almost as big as the music system itself. So, will a compact travel converter work on my US Bose music system and won’t it cause any harm?? Thanks a lot! Tim
