How Much Electricity Does A 27″ Crt Tv Use On Average?

I just bought a 56″ DLP LED Samsung TV and it uses 230W of electricity when on and has an Energy Star sticker on it. I was just wondering if I would be saving electricity (and contributing less to global warming) if I used my new LED DLP TV more than my old 27″ CRT. Thanks!

  1. Danny27 says:

The back of my 27″ hd crt says 149 watts. I don’t know if it always uses the full 149 watts, or sometimes less, sometimes more. I’m not sure how that works.
